COVID-19 has claimed it’s latest event, this year’s Charter Fair.
The Charter Fair has been held on the third Monday of October since 1227, but this year has had to be cancelled.
Following a discussion with Public Health, the Salisbury City Council Events Team have concluded that the monitoring of crowd control and social distancing is unfeasible and would come at a substantial cost.

The pandemic has put pay to many local and national events.
Salisbury City Council is continuing to assess the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic on events due to take place later this year and will update its website and social media with any changes made.
