Council Want to Fill the Streets With Performers

Salisbury City Council has put a call out for street performers to help bring vibrancy to the heart of Salisbury this Christmas.

The City Council is not just looking for musicians but also storytellers, dancers, street performers and other forms of entertainment which can be delivered on the streets within the City in a COVID friendly way.

Even though Salisbury City Council is not able to host some of their usual Christmas offerings this year, they are now in the stage of planning some exciting smaller festive treats for people to enjoy.

Leader of the Council, Cllr Jeremy Nettle said, “Christmas in Salisbury is going to look a bit different this year. However, we are still looking forward to hosting COVID secure festive fun. In order to do this, we need the help of performers to showcase their talents and bring some vibrancy and entertainment to passers-by during the festive period.”

If you would like to perform in the city this Christmas, please complete the application form on our website: https://www.salisburycitycouncil.gov.uk/responsibilities/our-events
