Wiltshire Police are Appealing for Witnesses following a Fatal Road Traffic Collision

Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision last night (8th October 2020) on the A36 in Salisbury between Wilton and South Newton.

The collision occurred shortly before 9.00 pm involving one motorbike that was traveling west along the A36 through the village of South Newton.

The 66-year-old man from Westbury appears to have lost control of the motorbike and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was closed to enable emergency services to deal with the collision for approximately eight hours.

Anyone who saw the collision or has any information is asked to contact us on 101 quoting log number 320 of Thursday, October 8.
