Wiltshire Pub to Close for ‘Circuit Break’ Following Positive Test

The Dog & Gun Inn in Netheravon is to close the pub part of the business for 14 days following a member of staff testing positive for COVID-19.

The accommodation part of the business will continue to function.

Other members of staff who have worked alongside this member of staff have also been tested and returned negative results.

James & Patti, who run the pub will be contacting customers who may have come into contact with the affected member of staff in accordance with NHS advice. It is possible that some customers may be notified automatically if they checked into the pub using the NHS COVID-19 app.

They added, on a Facebook post: ‘We have worked hard to ensure the safety of our working environment and this decision is consistent with our commitment to put the health of our staff and customers first.’

They also wished their member of staff a speedy recovery and hope to open the doors to customers again soon.
