Amesbury Town Council To Live Stream Remembrance Service

With COVID restrictions putting pay to the usual Remembrance services, marches and ceremonies, Amesbury Town Council is inviting local residents to join them in a virtual remembrance.

The council will be streaming a Remembrance service on Sunday 8th November at 10:52 which will include a two minutes silence, poems read by the Mayor and the President of the Amesbury Branch of the Royal British Legion.

Pupils of The Stonehenge School will read names of the fallen and there will be a prayer from the Priest of St Mary’s & St Melor Church.

The stream can be found on The Amesbury Town Council Facebook page –
