30 years in the City JAS HAIR Group

A salon group that is familiar to many in Salisbury, the multi-award-winning Jas Hair Group has been in Salisbury City centre for 30 years.

According to owner Jayne Prigent, that has been 30 years of teamwork, community passion, excellence and consistency which all adds up to longevity, success and in more recent time resilience. Jayne says:

My family were all born in Salisbury so it made perfect sense to start my business in the heart of the City. I took over another salon just before my 21st Birthday based in New Canal (Now The White
Stuff) and reopened after a refurb in November 1990. We had some great times in that salon growing the number of stylists and introducing beauty to the salon. In 2006 we purchased 26 North Street and opened our Wilton Hair & Beauty Salon in North Street, 2007 we purchased the freehold of 60 New Street and in 2013 we opened our Aveda Hair and Beauty Spa within Parkwood Fitness Club. We also had a Salon in Christchurch for 10 years.
They have enjoyed some fantastic over the years. Running Salisbury Fashion Week with Cat Dunning was one of the many highlights along with winning several industry awards culminating in a “Legend “ Award and many local training and business awards.
Caring for the community comes naturally. Jas Hair has always been committed to local fundraising, collaborating with local business and getting personally involved in community projects. Jayne is now also an Ambassador of the Stars Appeal, supporting the great Treks that they have done over the years and raising £100,000’s for them.
