Would you like to support your local community and become a Flood Warden for the City? The voluntary role involves passing information about flood conditions back to local authorities to help manage the response to flooding.
Training will be provided as part of your role including awareness and understanding of potential risks in your area as well as guidance on how to minimise exposure to those risks.

Cllr Derek Brown OBE, who is the Flood Co-ordinator for the city said,
“This is a great opportunity for residents of Salisbury to be the eyes and ears of their community. Joining over 20 other Flood Wardens, they will provide a valuable link between the local community, emergency services and Wiltshire Council.”
