An extraordinary full Salisbury City Council meeting has been called for this evening (Monday, 14th December) to discuss the future of the People-Friendly Salisbury scheme.
The City council had refused to support the scheme, which among other reasons led to Wiltshire Council indefinitely suspending the scheme at the end of November.
The suspension followed calls from Salisbury MP John Glen, Salisbury BID as well public protests and petitions.
The meeting this evening will ask councillors if they support the reintroduction of the scheme in 2021.
The meeting is due to begin at 6:30 pm this evening and will be held online via Microsoft Teams.
