Tesco Amesbury Turns Pink for Cancer Research UK

On the 23rd, 24th & 25th April Tesco Amesbury turned Pink to celebrate their 20 year Partnership with Cancer Research UK raising over £1800 in the process.

The store was decorated with lots of pinks, including balloons, banners, bunting. On top of this, there were fantastic additions made by Amesbury Kids Club to adorn the store windows.

Colleagues also took part by wearing pink to raise money for the charity.

Customers could donate by rounding up their shop to the nearest pound at self-service, through our QR code, dropping cash into our buckets, purchasing Cancer Research merchandise or by entering our all-pink draw.

Adele Ward, Community Champion at Tesco Amesbury said:

It was a busy weekend and colleagues spoke to lots of customers who have been touched by Cancer in one way or another. We were truly touched that you shared your stories with us. On the Sunday it was great to see our Cancer Research volunteers back in store collecting for the charity.

The weekend was an absolute success and we can’t thank our customers and colleagues enough for supporting us to raise money for Cancer Research UK. We raised an astounding £ 1825.03 in three days.
