The Army Flying Museum is on a New Knitting and Crochet Mission

The Army Flying Museum at Middle Wallop is looking for your help!

If you are a crochet or knitting fan, they want you to help them to create a squadron of mini Zephyr the Eagle which has been inspired by the Army Air Corps Mascot.

They would like individuals and community groups to get involved and create the mini knitted and crochet eagles which will then fly out to different locations across Wiltshire and Hampshire.

People can either use their own patterns or you can request one from the museum by emailing outreach@armyflying.co.uk or they can post out a copy of the pattern to you.

This campaign follows the success of their previous knitting and crochet projects to make mini medals and helicopters.
