A local village side will be facing some of England’s best players in a charity match.
Shrewton Presidents XI will be taking on a side of current and former England internationals as part of Rikki Clarke’s testimonial year.
It’s all for charity, supporting The Professional Cricketers’ Trust and Cure Leukaemia, with money raised going towards the amazing work they do.
Who is Rikki Clarke?
Rikki has played top-class cricket for over 20 years, an all-rounder in the sport with almost 18,000 runs and 800 wickets.
Currently playing for Surrey, he earned caps for England at both Test level and in One Day Internationals.
Well for cricket fans, these names will be very familiar. Taking on the Shrewton side will be: Rikki
Clarke, Jamie Smith, Jamie Overton, Jade Derbach, Laurie Evans, Ben Foakes, Will Jacks, Ryan
Patel, Rory Burns, Mark Stoneman, Ollie Pope, Gus Atkinson and Gareth Batty.

Tidworth Cricket Ground, Sunday 26th September 2021.
There will also be a display from the Red Devils Parachute Display Team, and an opportunity to meet and greet the players and live music.
