This weekend, Saturday 18th September, sees the People in the Park 2021 event take place in Lizzy Gardens.
People in the Park, organised by Transition City, is an un-ticketed event and consists of a mix of community group stallholders, performers, Local environmentally friendly businesses, food vendors, live music and guest speakers.

This year we the event will be taking over even more of Lizzy gardens and they have added a new youth stage which will be managed by and filled with local talented young musicians.
They hope that People in the Park will be a good opportunity for the community of Salisbury to learn from each other, exchange ideas and generate plans for working together – to help us all to create a more ethical, just and sustainable future for Salisbury.
Several groups from the community will be there with a stand, including Silver Salisbury who will be promoting their Silver Salisbury 2021 programme. If you want to find out more about the Silver Salisbury Programme, this is your opportunity to pick one up from the Silver Salisbury stand. Irene Kohler Salisbury’s Older People’s Champion and her team will be on hand to tell you more about individual events in the programme and answer any queries you may have.
