Boy, 13, from Cirencester admits string of offences including eight assaults

A 13-YEAR-OLD from Cirencester has been charged with a string of offences including eight assaults, theft and criminal damage.

The boy has admitted eight separate accounts of assault by beating which took place in Cirencester between April 13 and June 6 last year.

He was charged with stealing £5 from a man in Cirencester on May 1 last year – contrary Theft Act 1968.

In addition, the boy was charged with causing criminal damage.

He damaged a door worth £200 in Paterson Road, Cirencester on May 16 last year – contrary to Criminal Damage Act 1971.

The boy pleaded guilty to all charges and is due to be sentenced at Cheltenham Magistrates Court.

The defendant cannot be named due to his age.
