We have put together a guide for how to listen to Salisbury Radio.
We are currently broadcasting test transmissions online and plan to be on DAB across South Wiltshire and West Hampshire in 2021.
Here are the best ways to listen to Salisbury Radio:
On the website
The first way to listen is via the website (salisburyradio.co.uk). Click on the Listen Live button near the top of the page. This will launch a new window with our radio player on it. This works on all internet-enabled devices including smartphones.
Another great way to listen is via your Amazon Alexa Smart Speaker. All you need to do is enable our skill and then ask Alexa to Play Salisbury Radio. If you are yet to enable our skill, just say; ‘Alexa, Enable Salisbury Radio‘. Once you have done this, all you need to do is say; ‘Alexa, Play Salisbury Radio‘.
Google Assistant & Google Home
You can also listen to us via your Google-enabled devices including Google Home smart speakers. You just need to say ‘OK Google, Ask Salisbury Radio to play’.
Salisbury Radio App
You can download the Salisbury Radio App from the Google Play Store. It is coming soon to the Apple App Store. Just download the app and away you go with Salisbury Radio on your smartphone.
We are also listed on myTuner Radio – a free ‘Radio’ app for your smartphone. Once you have downloaded the app you can take us everywhere, including your car. If you have a connected car audio system that works with Andriod Auto or Apple Car Play, you can then listen to us directly through your car stereo. Alternatively, you can connect us via a cable or Bluetooth and listen to Salisbury Radio on the move.
Salisbury Radio and myTuner Radio also works with Sonos Speakers. Just add myTuner Radio to your services and you can listen to Salisbury Radio all-around your house or office via your Sonos Speakers.
